Capital of the week: BONN (TOP5) / BOCHUM (TOP5)
PABUCA Capital of the week is…
BONN
the TOP5 is choosen by Markus (Bochum)
Bonn – ON THE RHINE: Die Technik in diesem Bild hat mir gezeigt wie man Räume schafft.
Bonn – RESISTANCE: ‘Less is more’ kling oft so abgedroschen. Issesabergarnich!
PABUCA Capital of the week is…
BOCHUM
the TOP5 is choosen by Christian (Bonn)
Thank you for more than 40.000 view and 3.700 inspiring comments during the last year. Thank you for participating. That was a great time:

Very special photos again from Maike. What city can offer that: Sports on the Baltic Sea? Flensburg!
Important notice: PABUCA is no contest. PABUCA is a platform for sharing impressions of towns and an incentive to look for it. So “The capital of the week” is no winner of the theme or necessarily the “best shot”. We wouldn’t presume to declare something like that. But it’s an example, which in our subjective opinion unterlines the idea of PABUCA: To illustrate the soul of the city.

Indeed, 7:30 is not the time for photographs like many meant, but perhaps it’s time to look around during the daily routine at this time. LOG did it, while he drives his 17-minutes way to work.

Crossing, parking and …listen… …football playing at football playgrounds (!!!) is obviously forbidden in Leverkusen. 🙂

Numbers so well enclosed in Hannover’s daily life. Katharina told us her nice story of baker men, vintage coach travels and a (now and justifiably so) fired and unemployed advertising agent. 😉

In a very symbolic and poetic way, kiki described the features of walls like overcoming, leaking and reminds us on the ‘walls in our heads’.

Pabuca City

Railway stations and trains (or planes) seem to be a connecting element, where different people from different cities with different intentions arrive and meet at platforms. And yes, it’s similar to Pabuca, the “station” which connects photographical interests, but the people behind too. We would like to thank all Pabucians for their weekly journey to Pabuca city. We think, that our central station will grow and change during the next months, and we hope that you always feel welcome here. (All entries this week in random order)

A love letter to Flensburg from Maike about things she like about her city. A sliced light house, tattooed bar ladies and cosy backyards. Maritime and particularly photos from the baltic sea.

‘UPWARD’ is the direction of Bremen steps. That sounds promising! With awesome ideas Kiki placed the steps as the protagonist in her story, so that they get their own identity. Posing, bold and dynamic.

Leverkusen seems to be industry, functional architecture, motorways. But it isn’t. Look at this new side of melancholic, wonderful views of the town, where autumn glimmers golden.

Mirrors, water, twilight zones, play of light. The variety of reflections in a town is large. Stefan opens new dimensions with reflections, but he don’t forget, that they are part of the environment of Leverkusen, where they’re integrated.
